1. Use of Our Website
By using this website, you confirm that you are at least 18 years old or have permission from a parent or guardian. You agree not to use our site for any unlawful or prohibited purpose.
2. Products & Services
Jane’s Thread Co. offers custom embroidery, apparel, and related products. Many items are made-to-order or personalized.
Due to the nature of embroidery and handmade products, slight variations in color, thread, placement, and sizing may occur. These variations are normal and are not considered defects.
3. Custom Orders & Design Approval
Customers are responsible for reviewing and approving all mockups, proofs, spelling, and design details prior to production.
Once production has begun, changes or cancellations are not guaranteed. Jane’s Thread Co. is not responsible for errors that were approved by the customer.
4. Turnaround Time
Production and shipping timelines are estimates and may vary due to order volume, supply availability, or unforeseen circumstances. Jane’s Thread Co. is not responsible for delays caused by shipping carriers or events beyond our control.
5. Pricing & Payments
All prices are listed in U.S. dollars. Payment is required in full before production begins unless otherwise agreed upon in writing. We reserve the right to change prices at any time without notice.
6. Sales Tax
Sales tax is collected in accordance with Virginia state law and is based on the items purchased and delivery location. Customers are responsible for all applicable taxes.
7. Returns, Refunds & Exchanges
Due to the custom nature of our products, all custom and personalized items are final sale.
Refunds or replacements are only offered for confirmed defects or errors caused by Jane’s Thread Co. Claims must be submitted within 7 days of delivery and include clear photos of the issue.
We do not accept returns or refunds for:

8. Customer-Supplied Items
If a customer provides their own garments or items for embroidery, Jane’s Thread Co. is not responsible for damage due to fabric quality, pre-existing flaws, or item limitations. Embroidery involves needles and tension that may affect delicate materials.
9. Intellectual Property
All content on this website, including logos, designs, images, and text, is the property of Jane’s Thread Co. and may not be used without written permission.
Customers confirm they have the legal right to use any logos, artwork, or text submitted for customization. Jane’s Thread Co. is not responsible for copyright or trademark violations provided by customers.
10. Wholesale & Business Orders
Wholesale and business-to-business orders may be subject to minimum order quantities, separate pricing, and specific production timelines. Additional terms may apply and will be communicated separately.
11. Limitation of Liability
Jane’s Thread Co. shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from the use of our products or website. Our total liability shall not exceed the amount paid for the product or service.
